Ethel A. Morgan

	Ethel A. Morgan, 89, of DuQuoin, passed away at 6:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 7, 2001 at Fair Acres Nursing Home in DuQuoin.
	Ethel was a homemaker and a member of the Christian Church.
	 She was born September 24, 1911 at Tamaroa, the daughter of William F. and Elizabeth (Hackney) Newhouse.
	She married George A. Morgan on July 2, 1929 at Nashville.  He passed away May 21, 1978.
	 She is survived by one son, Harry E. Morgan and wife Millie of DuQuoin; daughter-in-law, Virginia Morgan of Herrin; three grandchildren, Debra L. (Morgan) Herron and husband James of Kansas, Randy E. Morgan and wife Rhonda of Marion and Kristen L. Morgan of Chicago; four great-grandchildren, Jeremy Herron of Kansas, Justin Morgan of Carterville, Travis Morgan and Corey Morgan of Marion; three great-great-grandchildren, Josh Herron of Kansas, Bailee and Brockton Morgan of Marion; four sisters, Olene Scorza, Mary Tacher and Anita Stanton, all of California and Verda Morris of Michigan; one brother, Ike Newhouse and wife Sue of Georgia and several nieces and nephews.
	She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, William A. Morgan; six sisters and four brothers.
	Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Friday, August 10 at the Searby Funeral Home in DuQuoin with Rev. Charles Smith officiating.
	Friends called from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Searby Funeral Home in DuQuoin.
	Interment was in the Round Prairie Cemetery at Tamaroa.
	Friends may make memorials to the Perry County Hospice.
